Common Area Be Safe Be Responsible Be Respectful

Classroom

Keep hands and feet to yourself.

Ask permission to leave assigned areas.

Follow directions.

Keep aisles clear.

Keep food or drink outside of buildings.

Be on time.

Resolve attendance issues before class.

Be prepared, bring appropriate materials.

Participate in class activities.

Actively listen to designated speaker.

Stay on task.

Use appropriate voice and language.

Clean up after self.

Dress and groom according to school dress code.

Refrain from Public Displays of Affection (PDA).

Computer Lab

Keep hands and feet to yourself.

Ask permission to leave assigned areas.

Follow directions.

Use appropriate use of internet

Keep all devices clean

Refrain from having food or drinks by the devices

Keep device volume at a low level.

Take care of keyboards, mice and monitors

Use appropriate voice and language.

Clean up after self.

Push in chairs

Close all apps and windows before shutting down devices

Be mindful to manage only your files.

Library

Walk in quietly.

Ask permission to leave assigned areas.

Follow directions.

Keep aisles clear.

Keep food or drink outside of buildings.

Be on time.

Be prepared, bring back your book before the due date.

Return books to its proper location using a book marker if you are not checking it out.

Stay on task.

Use appropriate voice and language.

Clean up after self.

Push in chairs after you use them.

Refrain from Public Displays of Affection (PDA).

Listen while the librarian provides instruction.

Hallways

Keep hands & feet to yourself.

Open doors slowly.

Keep walkways and doorways clear.

Walk on the right, let others pass.

 

Keep all food and drinks outside

Use drinking fountains appropriately.

Inform adults of vandalism or spills.

 

Pick up your trash.

Use appropriate language and tone of voice.

Move quickly to class.

Refrain from Public Displays of Affection (PDA).

Cafeteria

Wait in line patiently and in single file.

Always walk.

Use two hands to carry your tray.

 

Remember your PIN number and enter quickly.

Make choice quickly.

Clean up your area.

Exit quietly/quickly.

 

Use appropriate voice and language.

Use good manners.

Be sure all leftover food and trash goes into the garbage cans.

 

Quad

Pick up any food/trash.

Resolve conflicts peacefully.

Use appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication.  

Clean up area after eating.

When bell rings walk quickly to class.

 

Take only what belongs to you.

Take lost items to the Main Office.

Refrain from Public Displays of Affection (PDA).

School Offices

Use appropriate tone of voice inside offices.

Use chairs and tables appropriately.

 

Use appropriate pass.

State your purpose politely when entering.

Wait patiently to be attended to.

Use appropriate voice and language.

Multi Purpose Room

Enter and exit in an orderly manner.

Leave food and drinks outside.

Keep hands and feet to yourself.

Exit from the specified exits only.

Keep walkways clear.

Applaud appropriately.

Sit quietly with your class.

Be attentive.

Listen with an open mind.

Use appropriate voice and language.

Remind others to follow the rules.

Locker

Rooms

Leave all food and drinks outside.

Walk at all times.

Listen and follow directions of adults.

Be sure all belongings are locked up in lockers before leaving.

 
 

Pick up your own trash.

Change at your locker not in restroom stalls.

Be on time entering and exiting.

Refrain from sharing lockers or combinations with others.

Give people privacy.

Keep lockers, walls, shower /bathroom stalls free of graffiti.

Use appropriate voice and language.

 
Gym

Leave food, drink and gum outside.

Use equipment as it was designed to be used.

Sit properly in assigned area.

Resolve conflicts peacefully.

Return equipment to the designated area.

Report to designated area in a timely manner.

Be prepared for PE everyday by bringing PE Uniform.

Use appropriate language.

Demonstrate good sportsmanship both as a player and spectator.

Be a team player, encourage and include others.

Playing

Fields

Use equipment as it was designed to be used.

Be aware of other activities around you.

Ask permission to leave assigned areas.

Report any injuries or unsafe equipment to adults.

Be prepared to begin on time.

Return equipment to the designated area.

Turn in lost items to PE Coaches.

Demonstrate good sportsmanship both as a player and spectator.

Be a team player, encourage and include others.
